Customer Service basically means you get routed to the company/contractor who worked on your house and NV Builder keeps a record of your calls.
For parts, NV Builder has to order the parts and have it delivered to your address. If it doesn't get done, you can wait for a very long time to get anything fixed.
For example, if the plumbing company lack integrity and ethics they just make up excuses not to come out and do the repair. Stating it's not under warranty or it's due to environmental issues beyond their control.
The one year warranty is not as great as it sounds. It's worst than Comcast customer service. If you get what I mean. You'll be on the phone for a long time.
For challenging and costly mistakes, some companies will plainly deny it or just do a patch that doesn't really fix the real issue and wait for the 1 year warranty to expire. In truth, the patch only hides the problem.
NV Builder will not advocate, assist, or acknowledge problems on your behalf. You are totally on your own. You may be required to hire an independent specialist and have them evaluate and write up a thorough report to fight for a major repair. May even have to go to court.
NV Builder is known for hiring the cheapest contractors and companies who have very low standards.
NV Home is not really a true builder. They just route client to the all the different contractors who worked on your house. If the cintractors suck at the beginning, they will consistently suck, hence NV home owner's delimina.
Hence the creation of this website and others (consumer complaint, greater business bureau, etc) to air out your grievances.
The only way to resolve this is stop buying from NV Homes. Other is to make NV Home accountable for the contractor/subcontractors work quality and performance. County inspection has to have higher standards.
